ABOUT TGNS

Thame Good Neighbour Scheme is a local voluntary group that offers services to those in the community who are in need of help and support.

Along with our team of volunteers, we are dedicated to helping people in the community and working in partnership with other services to promote involvement and well-being for the people of Thame, whatever their age.

HOW WE ARE RUN

Coordinators

The TGNS coordinators ensure all of our clients receive the help they need when they need it. They are the first point of contact for new clients and who you need to speak to if you want to arrange a service.

During office hours our coordinators are available in person at Thame Information Centre located in the Town Hall. You can contact them on 0330 022 1441.

Volunteers

Our volunteers are all local people wanting to do something for their community. They come from all walks of life, each with their own skills and knowledge to enrich the services they are able to offer to you.

All our volunteers are DBS checked and carry TGNS identification so you can feel safe and confident when allowing them into your home.

Management Committee

The Management Committee has the responsibility of directing TGNS, ensuring it is well run and is delivering the outcomes for which it has been set up.

It consists of a Chairman, Secretary, Council Representative and up to 3 other TGNS members.
